Over 30 years of practical hand-crafting experience working with the spindle, as well as a deep knowledge of spindle technology and the symbiosis with the machine environment, ensure that the Managing Director and founder of the company, Markus Kern, can advise our customers with the highest level of skill and great passion. Kern, who is considered one of the pioneers of spindle full-service consulting, not only studied the matter for decades but – in cooperation with Swiss manufacturers and universities – was also instrumental in elaborating the spindle failure analysis.
As a young spindle technician, Markus Kern was eager to get the maximum performance potential out of each of his repaired spindles. After a further ten years of practical technical experience with spindle repairs, he was able to realize his long-standing vision, which – at that time an unknown concept that has now become established worldwide – was based on providing customers with support where it was previously missing: directly on site.
Back then, the topic of on-site spindle consulting was still in its infancy. Markus Kern was looking for a more holistic solution to adapt spindles more ideally to their operating conditions in the machine. Instead of simply fixing the spindle and recovering recurring failures, he wanted to detect the actual causes of the failure and thus put an end to constant spindle failures.

Our technicians and managers are deeply committed to the problems of our customers and work together to develop solutions-oriented measures. In addition, our employees continuously expand their know-how in intensive training courses taught by technology experts – adapted to the ever-faster development of spindles and their increasing complexity (such as in motor technology).
Our efforts are worthwhile: in 2014 we received ISO 9001:2008 certification, which proves we have the highest quality standard in the industry. This makes us proud: the high quality of our services has always distinguished us from others – even in an international field.
A central component to securing this quality is our detailed documentation procedure for all repair work on the spindle. This is reported to the customer after all repair measures have been completed. This means that all steps and cost points on the spindle can be carried out in a highly transparent manner.
At the same time, our central data management system allows us to access the full history of each spindle at any time. This enables us to make evaluations of long-term failure reasons of the spindle, to advise our customers accordingly and to take into account improvement measures in future repairs.
